It was recently that I was checking through my friend requests and came across Gallows End. I’ve been impressed lately as to the amount of power metal Sweden has been pumping out, and these guys don’t disappoint. Thord (Vocalist/Lead Guitarist) has a certain grit to his voice and shows a lot of power with an above average range. His solos are nicely arranged to a solid band with overall well crafted songs. Each one has enough hook to sing along the second time around and enough to bring you back again. The production is tight with very clear cymbals and well mixed backing vocals.

I must say for just an EP these guys do impress. The rating below is a high remark for something of such length. I can’t wait for a full length album!
